Mr. Jones serves as a co-founder and Partner on the investment team and his responsibilities include advising on venture capital relationships as well as providing insight on portfolio investments, both direct and fund level. Brent is a member of Northgate's Partnership Board. He has been an investor in Silicon Valley's venture capital funds as well as an angel investor in several silicon valley start-ups including Data Domain, Nvidia, VA Linux, Palo Alto Networks, Admob, Clearwell, Meraki, and Rocketfuel. Brent played 12 years in the National Football League, including 11 with the San Francisco Forty-Niners where he was a four-time All-Pro performer and three-time Super Bowl champion. He was honored as the NFL's Bart Starr Award recipient in 1998 for outstanding character in the home, on the field, and in the community. He has been inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame for both Division I and Division II. Brent earned his BS in Economics from the University of Santa Clara. |
