Ken co-founded Elysian in 2007 and has more than 28 years of private equity experience in the UK and Europe. He started his career in the specialised financing division of Standard Chartered Bank in London, arranging financing for large management buyouts and leveraged buyouts. He became a founding partner of UK private equity firm Doughty Hanson on its formation in 1990, where he led some of its most successful investments, before leaving in 2004. He is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, and holds degrees in economics from the University of Leeds and history from the University of Essex. |
