Gavin first joined the Company as Chief Financial Officer in August 2016. Prior to joining the Company, he was the Finance Director of Thomas Cook Group plc’s tour operator and hotels and resorts division. He joined Thomas Cook in 2013 from the FTSE 250 international electronic component distribution and software business, Premier Farnell PLC, where he was the finance director for five years. Before this, he worked at Merck GmbH group as the finance director for Seven Seas Ltd before becoming finance director of the Merck Consumer Healthcare division in UK and Ireland, and latterly leading the consolidation of the back-office activities of Merck’s four operating divisions across the UK and Ireland. Prior to joining Merck, Gavin trained as a chartered accountant with KPMG in Edinburgh and held finance director roles within Drambuie Group and Lees Group where he focused on the delivery of operating improvement and strategic change. Gavin was appointed as a Director on 23rd March 2017. He is a Director of a number of the Company’s portfolio companies. |
