Marc Thiery is a Managing Partner and Founder of Deutsche Private Equity (DPE). Prior to joining DPE, Marc held various positions at several leading European private equity firms, including Englefield Capital (now Bregal), Morgan Stanley Capital Partners and Apax in London and Allianz Private Equity Partners in Munich. Prior to joining the private equity industry, Marc worked in his family’s business, a mid-sized company in the pharmaceutical packaging industry, which strongly influenced his investment philosophy, particularly with regard to valuing employees and the wider community. Marc holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) from the European Business School and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
