Blair Richardson serves as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bow River Capital. With a career spanning over 35 years, he has held prominent roles in the international Capital Markets, specializing in public equity and debt securities. Before establishing Bow River Capital in 2003, Blair was the Managing Partner of B.E. Richardson Investments. This venture engaged in diverse investments across industries and real estate throughout North America. Notably, between 1996 and 2002, his company executed over 20 private equity transactions. Blair was a vital member of the Goldman Sachs Fixed Income Department from 1980 to 1987, where his responsibilities encompassed sales and trading. His career trajectory led him to Morgan Stanley, where he contributed significantly from 1987 to 1995. During this period, he held distinguished positions such as President of Morgan Stanley Japan in Tokyo, Vice Chairman of Morgan Stanley Asia in Hong Kong, and Managing Director of the Equity and Fixed Income Department in New York. Beyond his professional pursuits, Blair is an active philanthropist with a history of supporting education, as well as culture and the arts. Acknowledged for his impact, Blair was recognized as one of Denver's most influential individuals by 5280 Magazine, earning a place in their esteemed "The 5280 Fifty" list. Blair was also the recipient of the prestigious Mizel Institutes 2022 Community Enrichment Award, honored by Governor Jared Polis and former Denver Mayor Michael Hancock. Notably, he has been a board member of National Jewish Hospital, Colorado Concern, Colorado Inclusive Economy, Activate Workforce Solutions, and the State of Colorado CLIMBER Fund. He and his wife, Kristin, support numerous charitable causes including the Denver Public Schools Foundation, Children’s Hospital Colorado, Colorado UpLift and ACE Scholarships. Outside of business, Blair is a family man, and father to four adult children. He and his wife reside in Denver, CO.
