Steve co-founded Birch Hill in 2005, and prior to that ran Birch Hill’s predecessor organization, the Canadian mid-market Private Equity Group within TD Capital. He joined TD Capital in 1989 as an Associate. Steve currently serves on the Board of Directors of Harbour Air and Motion Specialties. He has also served on the Boards of Algonquin Group, Bio Agri Mix, Carmanah Design and Manufacturing, Constellation Software, Hi-Pro Feeds, Lift Technologies, Locator Group, PageMart Wireless, Sleep Country Canada Holdings Inc. and Terrapure Environmental. Steve has also played a lead role in Birch Hill’s investments in A-Channel, AltaGas Services, Celestica International Holdings and COM DEV International. Steve also serves on the Board of Directors of Bank of Montreal.Steve received his MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, Western University, and his BBA (Honours) from Wilfrid Laurier University.
