Zoran is one of the founders of Bencis and managing partner. He founded Bencis in 1999 with Jeroen Pit. Regrettably, Jeroen was diagnosed with gastrointestinal cancer in 2007 and passed away in 2012. After studying Financial Economics in Amsterdam, Zoran worked in securitisation/structured finance at Goldman Sachs Mortgage-Backed Securitization and was active in structured finance, M&A and private equity at MeesPierson Corporate Finance & Capital Markets. Zoran enjoys most supporting founders, entrepreneurs and management teams to achieve their ambitious growth goals. Zoran is married and father of 3 children, based in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany. Further, he is a long-term fundraiser for the World Wildlife Fund and a founder and chairman of the SpaceBuzz Foundation www.spacebuzz.earth, a virtual & augmented reality education program for children worldwide, targeting to have them experience the “overview effect” and learning about STEAM-topics by sending them on a virtual space journey like real astronauts.
