Ashley Lykins Gullett has served as the lead lawyer on numerous complex business transactions involving private and public companies and private equity funds. She also has acted as the primary legal advisor for a variety of privately held companies. Her transaction experience includes a wide assortment of deal structures, including leveraged buyouts, divestitures, mergers, carve-outs, cross-border transactions, minority investments, and distressed transactions inside and outside of bankruptcy proceedings. In addition, Ashley assists clients with commercial contracts, executive management arrangements, and general corporate and corporate governance matters, including shareholder activism, special committees, and dissolution procedures. She advises clients from a wide range of industries, including health care, technology, cannabis, financial services, and manufacturing. Prior to rejoining Jones Day in 2018 from another international law firm, Ashley represented General Electric in various transactions, including the sale of its health care technology unit to Veritas Capital for $1.05 billion; Cortec Group in numerous transactions; ATI Physical Therapy in connection with several practice acquisitions; Wolters Kluwer Health in its $150 million acquisition of Learner's Digest International; Millennium Trust Company in its sale to Parthenon Capital Partners and its acquisition of InspiraFS, Inc.; HIG Capital in its acquisition of Ship Supply; Atlantic Packaging Products in its acquisition of York Container Company; and Extreme Plastics Plus in the sale of its assets via a 363 bankruptcy sale. Ashley serves on the board of directors of VOICEcorps, which provides services to the visually impaired, and chairs its operations and technical committee.
