He represents private equity funds, public and private companies and large family offices in domestic and cross border acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, joint ventures, co-investments, growth capital investments, debt and equity financings, and securities offerings. In addition to his thriving practice, Carl serves as a member of Akerman’s Executive Committee and is Co-Chair Emeritus of the Corporate Practice Group. He represents private equity firms and their portfolio companies as well as other companies in their corporate transactions, and effectively serves as outside general counsel for a number of firms.
