Bill Sullivan Bio

Bill Sullivan maintains a broad-based federal income tax practice. Bill focuses on a wide range of federal income tax planning matters with an emphasis on assisting private equity funds with acquisitions, dispositions, internal restructurings, reorganizations, divisions, financings, and equity compensation arrangements for service providers. He advises clients on various capital market transactions, including de-SPAC transactions, debt and equity issuances, and initial public offerings. Bill regularly advises on significant real estate transactions, including joint ventures, like-kind exchanges, TIC structures, REIT transactions, debt restructurings, and complex partnership arrangements. In addition to his federal income tax practice, Bill has experience with international tax structuring, tax planning for motor vehicle dealers, and state income tax planning for motor vehicle manufacturers, leasing companies, and financial institutions.
