Robert Wall focuses his practice on representing corporations, entities, and individuals on strategic tax planning matters and best practices. Specifically, he advises clients on matters pertaining to federal and state income tax laws and how to minimize the impact of taxes on business transactions. He advocates on matters before the Internal Revenue Service and the North Carolina Department of Revenue on client issues, including audits and appeals from audit determinations, compliance, collections, and U.S. Tax Court matters. In addition, Robert advises high-net-worth clients with estate and tax planning matters, including succession issues for closely held business clients and preparation of estate planning documents. He also counsels clients on federal tax-exempt issues and represents businesses and individuals in business dealings, such as acquisitions, divestitures, business combinations, and entity selection matters.
