Mr. Weintraub joined Vision Brazil Investments in 2013 as a Portfolio Manager for the firm´s investments in Special Credit Situations. Mr. Weintraub is originally from the U.S. where he worked for large investment banks including Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch. He spent five years at Deutsche Bank in New York as a Credit Trader with a focus on Credit Derivatives and High Yield bonds. Mr. Weintraub permanently relocated to Brazil in 2009. During his time in Brazil, he worked directly for the three controlling shareholders of 3G Capital between 2009 and 2011, where he helped them manage their stakes in large global consumer companies. Mr. Weintraub was also a Partner at BR Partners, a local Brazilian investment bank, from 2011 to 2013. Mr. Weintraub earned a bachelor of science from Syracuse University and an MBA from the M.I.T. Sloan School of Management with an emphasis on Financial Engineering.
