Mike Khutorsky joined TZP Group in May 2019. Mike began his career in 2000 as a Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst at Soundview Technology Group, a technology-focused investment bank. In 2002, he joined Alvarez & Marsal, a global turnaround and performance improvement firm, where he was a turnaround advisor on interim management teams for companies undergoing financial and operational change or crisis. In 2007, Mike joined Trilantic Capital Partners (f/k/a Lehman Brothers Merchant Banking) where he focused on leveraged buyouts and significant minority investments in the business services and consumer sectors. In 2013, Mike co-founded Turnspire Capital Partners, where he was responsible for sourcing and leading investments in lower middle market special situations in the industrial sector. In 2016, he joined Tower Three Partners, an operationally-focused private equity firm in which he sourced, evaluated and executed middle market buyout transactions across a variety of sectors including business and industrial services, manufacturing and healthcare. Mike received a B.S. in Finance and International Business from the Stern School of Business at New York University in 2000 and completed his graduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania in 2007, where he received an M.B.A from the Wharton School of Business and an M.A. in International Studies from the Lauder Institute.
