James Larson is a Vice President based in San Francisco, and has been with TPG since 2015. James works across TPG Capital and TPG Growth focusing on technology investments. James has been or is currently involved with TPG’s investments in IMS Health, LLamasoft, McAfee, and WellSky (formerly Mediware + Kinnser). Prior to joining TPG, James worked at Blackstone, where he advised on and executed M&A and corporate finance transactions. James holds an MBA from the Harvard Business school and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
