and access,
Karl joined Silverfleet in 2017 as Head of the Nordic region, based in Stockholm, and has been involved in investments including Collectia. He previously worked as an investment director with AP6, the sixth Swedish national pension fund, which he joined from Doughty Hanson where he was also responsible for investments in the Nordic region. Karl started his career at Accenture in Stockholm, before moving to London and into investment banking initially with Goldman Sachs, and then at Lehman Brothers. Karl relocated back to Sweden in 2006, becoming a partner at corporate finance firm ABG Sundal Collier where he spent five years before moving into private equity. In addition to an MSc in clinical psychology from the University of Stockholm, Karl has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, near Chicago. It is perhaps easier to list the things that Karl has not done rather than those that he has. In addition to completing the 90km Vasaloppet cross country ski race, he has published several thrillers and also once spent six months in a monastery allowing only one hour of conversation per week.
