Qiongyan joined Apax Partners in 2014. She currently works in the Tech & Telecom team. Qiongyan sees private equity as one of the rare career opportunities that allows people to learn and grow continuously while making a positive and sustainable impact. She appreciates how she is able to work alongside seasoned professionals within innovative businesses, and how private equity provides a different approach to creating investor value. She especially likes Apax Partners’ collaborative culture and its entrepreneurial mindset. Qiongyan enjoys participating in the value creation and the impact that Apax Partners brings to companies and society. She feels that her experience in the industry – and particularly in Tech and Telecom – are put to good use, along with her international experience. Qiongyan likes to put her curious nature to work in everything she does, whether it’s working on new investments or in her personal activities. She finds that the mix of her dual heritage – Chinese and French – brings together defining attributes that she sees as important in her work and personal life. She finds inspiration in making an impact in the world around her, whether in people, the environment, or investments she is involved in. And that it’s her self-motivated nature that drives her to seek out challenges in life and her eagerness to explore new approaches in her work. Qiongyan has a Master’s degree in Quantitative Economics and Finance at École Polytechnique and HEC, and a degree in Market Analysis and Corporate Finance at ENSAE Paris. She started her career in 2010 at Lazard in the EMEA Telecom & Technology Group and was involved in various M&A, LBO and capital market transactions. Qiongyan later joined Apax Partners in 2014 as Director in the Tech & Telecom team.
