Nils joined Salt Creek Capital as an Executive Partner in 2022. He brings over 30 years of outstanding leadership and success in business development, profit and revenue growth, team development and management, and strategic planning and analysis. Prior to joining Salt Creek, Nils was the CEO, President, and Director at Del Monte Foods. During his time at Del Monte, Nils grew EBITDA by $46M+ over a 3-year period, successfully executing on an expedited revenue growth plan. In addition to Del Monte, Nils has worked at Texas Pacific Group, Oxford Health Plans, PepisCo Inc., and Post Cereals, has served as a business consultant to Tamarix Capital, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and KKR/Vestar, and has lead the strategic acquisitions of ethnic food distributor Distributors and retail store operators The Nut Guys. Nils currently serves on multiple technology-oriented company board of directors. Nils is passionate about business growth and development: devising actionable plans, ensuring growth in revenue, and efficiency in operations, which is a significant characteristic of his years of experience. Nils has a Master of Science degree from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from East Stroudsburg University. Nils presently resides in Newport Coast, CA.
