Nelson joined Salt Creek Capital as an Executive Partner in 2020. Nelson brings over 25 years of Executive Leadership and General Management experience across different industries and geographies. Prior to joining Salt Creek, Nelson was a Group Senior Vice President at Leslie’s Pool Mart, the largest specialty retailer of swimming pool services, equipment and supplies in the world. As a member of its executive team, Nelson was responsible for growing annual revenue to over $1B for the first time in the company’s 57-year history. Before Leslie’s, Nelson was the Senior Vice President in the Entegra Division of Sodexo, a global provider of food services and facilities management to a wide variety of industry verticals. Nelson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from UFRJ-Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
