Bio

John is a partner at Rubicon and joined the firm when it was established in 2012. He sits on the board of AudienceView. Prior to their respective exits, John sat on the boards of Aucerna and Astute. John is also on the board of Wolfspeed (formerly Cree, Inc.). Before joining Rubicon, John was a senior managing director of Blackstone’s private equity group focused on the firm’s global technology investing activities, and was a member of Blackstone’s private equity investment committee. Prior to Blackstone, John was one of the original team members of the Credit Suisse First Boston technology group, where he managed the global corporate finance team and was involved in over 250 technology financings and M&A transactions focused on assisting middle market technology companies achieve transformative growth. John holds a bachelor of science in biology from Stanford University.
