Scott Essex is an Advisory Partner focusing on the firm's private debt business, based in New York. He sits on the Board of Directors of the firm's portfolio companies CapitalSpring Finance Company and Diversified Maintenance Systems. Previously, he was a member of the Global Investment Committee, Chairman of the Global Direct Debt Investment Committee and a member of the Global Liquid Debt Investment Committee and also Head of Private Debt in the Americas. He has been with Partners Group since 2007 and has 21 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Partners Group, Scott worked at GE Capital in the Media, Communications and Entertainment finance division. Prior to that, he worked at Lazard Ltd in the corporate finance department in London. He holds an MBA with distinction from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business, Washington, D.C., USA and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Vermont, USA.
