John Ivanac is US Head of Consultant Relations as part of the Client Solutions Americas business unit, based in New York. He is responsible for managing Partners Group's relationships with investment consultants and their institutional clients and has 26 years of professional experience in both the legal and investment management fields. Prior to joining Partners Group, he was Global Head of Alternatives Strategies for BlackRock's Global Consultant Relations Group within the Institutional Client Business, a Senior Vice President and Director of Alternatives Marketing for Trust Company of the West, and Director of Marketing & Investor Relations for Scoggin LLC. Before joining TCW|Scoggin, he was the Head of Alternative Investment Funds Management for Barclays Capital's Wealth & Investment Management Division in the Americas. At Barclays, he was responsible for the origination, structuring, marketing, and distribution of all of the firm's third party hedge fund, private asset, and long only sub-advisory products. Prior to Barclays, he was the Chief Operating Officer for a New York based hedge fund manager, where he was responsible for the firm's business development, operational, and legal/compliance functions. He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and English from Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA and a juris doctor (J.D.) from St. John's University School of Law, New York, USA. He is a member of the bars of the states of New York and New Jersey.
