Bio

Prior to joining ETP, James worked for Magnetar Capital, where he evaluated long and short equity investments in the energy space. Before Magnetar, James worked for American Capital's Energy group, the team that was responsible for all energy-related investments in leveraged buyouts, minority equity and junior debt deal structures. James started his career at Prudential Capital Group's Dallas office focusing on debt and mezzanine transactions in energy. James holds a BBA and a Master of Professional Accounting degree from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was a Larry Temple and George L. Clark Scholar. James is a former board member of American Wind Capital.
