David Croll is chairman of M/C Partners, the firm he co-founded with Jim Wade in 1987. From the beginning David has focused on communications and technology services sectors, identifying new investment opportunities as these industries have evolved over the last 40 years. He has been actively involved in more than 100 investments establishing M/C Partners as a leader in communications investing. David received a BS in engineering with honors from Cornell University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Today, David is very involved in non-profit organizations having most recently served as President of the Board of Trustees at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Chair of the Finance Committee of Cornell University, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Trustees of Reservations, Massachusetts largest land conservation and preservation organization. David and his wife live in Chestnut Hill, MA and he enjoys boating in New England waters, being an amateur arborist and exploring spectacular natural open spaces.
