Mike Lyons is the President of Lincolnshire Management with 35 years of experience in operations, finance and senior management. Mike is a member of the Investment Committee and has been involved in the successful acquisition and realization of over 40 companies during the past 20 years at Lincolnshire. He began his affiliation with Lincolnshire in 1994 when he was named Chief Operating Officer at one of the Lincolnshire portfolio companies. He has significant operating experience, having served in such roles as President, COO and CFO at a range of middle market companies in the manufacturing, distribution, consumer products and service industries. Mike’s experience includes such successful Lincolnshire transactions as Wabash, PADI, National Pen, Amports, Prince, Riddell, BMS and many others. He has served in interim executive roles including Flight Training Acquisitions, Latite and Computer Technology Solutions. Mike has also played an integral role in the successful execution of various financial and operational restructurings and turnarounds for a select number of portfolio companies. He started his career as a CPA with PriceWaterhouse. Mike is a graduate of Boston University, summa cum laude and valedictorian (B.S.B.A.), and has an MBA from Harvard University. He is an avid sports and music fan, and his experience in restructuring carries over to his personal interests – in his spare time he enjoys renovating and restoring historic homes. Mike serves on the Deans Advisory Board for the Boston University Questrom School of Business where he was the Commencement Speaker in 2012.
