Prior to joining GarMark in 2019, Mr. Sproule was a Managing Director at The Dunning Group, a family office, where he led sourcing, execution and monitoring of a portfolio of investments. During this time, he was a member of the Board of Directors of Asian Coast Development Ltd and the CFO of Global Cornerstone Holdings (an $80 million publicly traded SPAC). Mr. Sproule has worked with a wide variety of public, private and financial sponsor-backed companies where he has executed IPOs, debt and M&A transactions. From 2007 to 2008 Mr. Sproule was an Executive Director in the Technology Investment Banking group at JPMorgan Chase and from 2006 to 2007 he was an SVP in the Technology M&A group at Jefferies. He worked at Lehman Brothers from 1999 to 2006 in various groups including Technology Investment Banking in New York and Technology M&A in London, UK. Mr. Sproule started his finance career in the Industrial Investment Banking group at Salomon Smith Barney and was previously an engineer at Kimberly-Clark. Mr. Sproule graduated from Queen's University with a B. Sc. in Electrical Engineering and later received an MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University, both in Canada.
