Bio

Amanda Meltzer serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Balance Point Capital. Amanda is responsible for the firm’s accounting and financial reporting, regulatory, treasury and compliance operations. Amanda joined Balance Point in 2021 with an extensive background in managing private fund operations and compliance. Amanda began her career as a senior associate at KPMG in the financial services group. She was then the Controller at Psilos, a health-care focused venture capital firm before moving onto become the Controller at JLL Partners, a $6 billion, private equity firm. Amanda currently lives with her husband and two sons in Westport, CT. She enjoys hiking, going to the beach and playing tennis to make a later-in-life run at the US Open.
