Mr. Sawhney is a Managing Director at Aterian Investment Partners and is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, diligence, transaction structuring, financing, and value creation and exit strategies. Rahul has been engaged in private equity investing for over fifteen years, successfully executing buy-and-build, carve-out, and turnaround investment strategies. Prior to Aterian, he was a senior investment professional with Z Capital Group and Black Diamond Capital Management. Rahul started his career at JPMorgan Chase where he gained substantive experience in capital markets and restructurings. Rahul received a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics & Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology and earned an MBA with honors from the University of Chicago. He is a CFA® Charterholder. Rahul was born in Germany, has lived on four continents, and enjoys outdoor adventures and global travels.
