Mr. Thomas is a Principal at Aterian Investment Partners and serves on the Investment Committee, where he actively leads the investment and portfolio activities of the firm. Mr. Thomas has transaction and operation experience across a variety of industries including chemical, industrial, business services and consumer products. He has led investments in corporate carve-outs, complex situations and strategic growth initiatives in the private and public sectors. Previously, Mr. Thomas served as a Principal at Sun Capital Partners, a $10 billion private equity firm. Prior to Sun Capital, he served as Vice President of Fifteen Group, a private investment company focused on acquisitions in multi-family real estate. Mr. Thomas began his career in the Investment Banking group at Oppenheimer in New York, where he executed various corporate transactions and financings. Mr. Thomas graduated cum laude from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
