Bio

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Hendrick has been an investor and founder operator across four continents. Prior to Apis, Hendrick was an investor at Tencent, and worked closely with founders across Southeast Asia, Europe, US and Latin America in the payment, neobanks, software and business services domains. Prior to that Hendrick earned his chops at Generation IM, a sustainability-focused growth equity investor founded by Al Gore. Before entering investing, Hendrick founded a financial services startup in Southeast Asia and also worked as an operator expanding Uber’s franchise in China. Hendrick began his career as a FIG investment banker at Goldman Sachs.
