Patrick McCloskey is the Founder and Managing Partner of Aeterna Capital Partners, a family office backed private investment firm seeking to make direct and select fund level investments with a focus on closely held/family-owned businesses within the lower middle market. Throughout his career, Mr. McCloskey has participated in more than 150 private transactions – as both principal and agent – representing billions of dollars of capital across a variety of industries and geographic regions including North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, India and Australia. Mr. McCloskey co-managed Lazard's Private Placement Group as a Partner from New York and London where he was jointly responsible for sourcing, structuring and marketing private financing transactions on a global basis. Throughout his career, Pat has worked closely with entrepreneurs and family-owned enterprises as they seek financing and other solutions for their various endeavors. Pat has held similar roles at Lehman Brothers and Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette/Credit Suisse. Mr. McCloskey is a citizen of both the US and UK and serves on various Boards and Advisory Boards. Patrick is a co-founder of the Small Business Corps at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. Pat is the founder of the Twenty Minute Club, a forum where family office principals gather to share dealflow, intelligence and relationships. He received his law degree from Fordham University School of Law and an undergraduate degree in Finance, cum laude, from Georgetown University. Pat and his wife Susie are the proud parents of four children.
