Patrick McCloskey is the Founder and Managing Partner of Aeterna Capital Partners, a family office backed alternative investment firm seeking to make direct investments – both debt and equity – with a focus on the lower middle market. A twenty-five year veteran within the financial services industry with a particular focus on private financings, Mr. McCloskey has participated in more than 85 transactions – as both principal and agent – representing billions of dollars of capital for public and private companies, across a variety of industries and geographic regions including North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, India and Australia. Pat is a Registered Representative of WaveCrest Securities LLC, Member FINRA/SIPC. Aeterna Capital Partners and WaveCrest Securities are unaffiliated entities. Mr. McCloskey co-managed Lazard's Private Placement Group as a Partner from New York and London where he was jointly responsible for sourcing, structuring and marketing private financings on a global basis. Throughout his career, Pat has worked closely with business owners, entrepreneurs, family offices and intermediaries as they seek financing solutions and strategic guidance for their various endeavors. Pat has held similar roles at Lehman Brothers and Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette/Credit Suisse. Pat is the founder of the Twenty-Minute Club where like-minded family office groups gather to invest in and with one another. Mr. McCloskey is a citizen of both the US and UK and serves on various Boards and Advisory Boards – both corporate and philanthropic. He received his undergraduate degree in Finance, cum laude, from Georgetown University and a law degree from Fordham University School of Law. Pat and his wife Susie reside in Bronxville, NY with their four children.
