Eric Brown Bio

As the groups COO, Eric Brown brings over 30 years of experience in people operations, mergers and acquisitions, and labor relations. Eric joined WM Partners in 2022 working for Vega and WM Partners. Mr. Brown launched his career as Vice President of Human Resources at Preferred Capital Corporation in the financial services sector and has subsequently served as Vice President or Chief People Officer at iconic organizations such as Vega, Wellmore Holdings, EchoStar Communications, and Adaptec Data Storage Systems. His extensive experience has taken him around the globe, working as both a consultant and employee in advisory roles across more than 25 states and territories, as well as four continents. Mr. Brown's collaborative efforts with renowned companies like Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, Changwon University, and various government agencies showcase his ability to build strategic partnerships that drive results. Mr. Brown holds a master’s degree in human resources and training from Leicester University, England, along with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada and a degree in International Relations from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. His commitment to professional development is evident through advanced certifications from Columbia University, the Neuro-Leadership Institute, New York University, and Darden Business School at the University of Virginia. Moreover, he is a proud graduate of the prestigious Kennedy School of Government's Leadership Program at Harvard University. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mr. Brown is an avid athlete who has explored the globe through travel, running, and skiing. His dedication to fitness is highlighted by his completion of marathons on all seven continents, reflecting his relentless pursuit of excellence, adventure, and perseverance.
