Alex Washington Bio

Alex joined Wind Point in 2002. He currently serves on the boards of Ascensus Specialties, Hasa and Quantix. Previously, he served on the boards of Argotec, Arr-Maz Custom Chemicals, Critica Infrastructure, Dicom Transportation Group, Gehl Food & Beverage, Evans Food Group, Novolex and Paragon Films. Prior to Wind Point, Alex worked as a professional with J.H. Whitney, Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette, and McKinsey & Company. He received a Bachelor of Arts in finance from Morehouse College (summa cum laude) and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. He was a Class VI recipient of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Fellowship in venture capital. Alex serves as a director of Wintrust Financial Corp. (NASDAQ: WTFC), board member of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, life trustee (and past board chairman) of the Chicago Foundation for Education, and member of the Chicago Club.
