Peter Vaky Bio

Pete Vaky is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of VVS CAPITAL. He has over 30 years investment banking experience and is the former Managing Director and Head of Debt Capital Markets Distribution and former Head of Syndicated Finance at SunTrust Capital Markets. Pete has raised funding for leveraged and investment grade issuers and negotiated financing with large, middle and small private equity firms for a variety of transactions. He has worked for Bank of America Capital Market, Continental Illinois, Bank of Montreal and Wells Fargo and is the past co-chair of the Loan Sales and Trading Association (LSTA). Throughout his career, Pete has worked in Mexico City, Hong Kong, Sydney, London, New York and Chicago. He holds a BA with Distinction in History and English from DePauw University and an MBA from DePaul University in International Business.
