John Van Slooten is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of VVS CAPITAL. He has over 20 years of experience in the capital markets. He has executed private equity transactions in a variety of industries as principal. Currently, John serves on the Board of Directors for Western Petroleum, Inc., which has become the leading energy supplier to the drilling industry in the Rocky Mountains. Previously, he was the Head of Derivative Sales at SunTrust Capital Markets and served as the CFO of International Biolaser Corporation. He has worked for Standard Chartered Bank and First Interstate Bank, Ltd. He holds a BS in Accounting and an MBA with Honors in Finance and Marketing from Brigham Young University. |
