Erik is Managing Partner and founder of Viking Venture. Since being established in 2001, the firm has invested in over 50 companies. Erik has over 30 years of experience in the software industry and his rich background brings a dynamic combination of strategic, operational and entrepreneurial expertise to Viking’s portfolio companies. He has lived and worked in Sweden, Canada and the UK. Erik’s career began at McKinsey & Company and he went on to work as VP Marketing (distribution) at NetCom GSM ASA, CEO at Schibsted Nett and Scandinavia Online and Partner at Arthur Andersen. Erik has a MCs in Computer Science from the Norwegian Institute of Technology and has an MBA from INSEAD, France. |
