Tim Dattels serves as the Chairman for TPG Capital Asia, based in San Francisco and Hong Kong. Prior to joining TPG in 2004, Tim served as a Partner and Managing Director of Goldman, Sachs & Co. from 1996 to 2000. He received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts with Honors from the University of Western Ontario. He serves or has served on the Boards of Directors of Cushman & Wakefield, BlackBerry, Invest in Canada, Parkway Holdings, Primedia Inc., Shangri-La Asia Ltd., and Sing Tao News Corporation Ltd. Tim is also a Trustee for Jackson Laboratories, Vice Chair of SFJazz, and the Founding Trustee of the Kingfisher Foundation.
