Tammie Chen Bio

Tammie Chen is a Vice President with the TPG Rise Fund based in San Francisco. She focuses on education investments, and serves on the board of Instride. Prior to joining TPG in 2020, Tammie was the founding investment member of KKR’s technology growth equity fund, and an investment banker at Morgan Stanley. Tammie received a B.S. in Business Administration and B.A. in Economics from University of California at Berkeley, and earned an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
