Scott Yoon Bio

Scott (ShinWon) Yoon is a Managing Director at TPG Capital Asia based in Seoul, where he works on TPG's investment efforts in Korea. Prior to joining TPG in 2017, Scott spent seven years at Morgan Stanley Private Equity where he was a Vice President focusing on the sourcing and execution of private equity investments in Korea. Before joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Yoon spent three years as an equity analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Co., covering the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) sector. Scott represents TPG on the board of directors of Kakao Mobility Corp. He previously served on the board of directors of Monalisa (Korea Stock Exchange Listed), Ssangyong C&B Inc., Nolboo Co., and Jeonju Paper. Scott is a graduate of Korea University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, and also holds a Master's degree in Finance from London Business School.
