Mr. Sousou is Founder of TowerBrook. Mr. Sousou retired in June 2024 from active involvement in TowerBrook matters. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Sousou was Co-Chair of TowerBrook, Co-Chair of the Management Committee and Co-Chair of the Investment Committee. Mr. Sousou was previously Co-Head of Soros Private Equity and a member of the Management Committee of Soros Fund Management LLC. Prior to that, Mr. Sousou was a senior member of the Principal Investments group of Goldman Sachs. Mr. Sousou is a member of the board of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the Global Advisory Council of Harvard University, the board of directors of the US/Middle East Project, and he is Chair of the Steering Committee of Teach for Palestine. He is a former board member of Habitat for Humanity International, the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC), the Lambeth Trust, and Alpha International. He was also the founding chairman of the Private Equity Foundation (now Impetus Trust). Mr. Sousou earned his A.B. from Harvard College and received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
