Joseph Parzick Bio

Mr. Parzick is Chairman of Torque Capital Group and has spent the past 30 years in the private equity business as an investor and advisor. Prior to co-founding Torque, Mr. Parzick was a Managing Director and Partner of The Cypress Group, the manager of two private equity funds totaling $3.5 billion, which he joined in early 2003. While at Cypress, Mr. Parzick was a member of the Investment and Management committees and Chairman of the Portfolio Management and Exit committees. Previously, Mr. Parzick was a senior investment professional at EXOR America Inc., a merchant banking affiliate of Italy’s Agnelli Group, and a Managing Director in Morgan Stanley’s Financial Sponsor Group. He started his career at Lehman Brothers Inc., where he was a Managing Director. Mr. Parzick received a bachelors degree from The University of Virginia and an MBA in Management and Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
