David Casares Bio

David Casares is a Managing Director at TELEO Capital. David’s primary responsibilities include investment qualification, evaluation, execution, portfolio operations, and acquisition integration. David joined TELEO Capital from Vicente Capital Partners, where he was a Partner focused on deal sourcing, execution, portfolio operational improvements, and monitoring. While at Vicente, David served on the boards of several software and technology companies, including Intellectual Technology, SportsMEDIA Technology, and VXi Corporation. Previously, David was Director of M&A and Operational Improvements for a $2 billion subsidiary of Tyco Fire and Security, where he led operational improvements at over 120 field offices. Prior to Tyco, he began his career in management consulting at Bain & Co. and in investment banking at Merrill Lynch in the financial institutions and insurance group, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and capital raises. Active in the non-profit community, David serves on the Board of Directors for the Fulfillment Fund (college access and graduation non-profit) as Audit Chair and Executive Committee Member. He is also on the Finance Council of St. Monica Church. David earned an M.B.A. from Harvard University, where he was a Robert Toigo Foundation Fellow, and a B.A. in Finance from Georgetown University, where he was a four-year NCAA athlete in football and baseball.
