Brent Johnstone Bio

Brent co-founded Quarry Capital Management. Brent joined Quarry Capital Management from Thomson Financial where he ran a $150M P&L, managing content, data feeds and advanced analytics in the U.S. for the Investment Management division while overseeing such flagship brands as First Call, I/B/E/S and Thomson ONE Analytics. Prior to Thomson Financial, he was General Manager of TheMarketsPro at TheMarkets.com, a consortium of eleven of the largest global broker dealers, including Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and Citigroup. Before that, Brent founded and launched BulldogResearch.com, a financial site with over 500,000 monthly visitors that was awarded Forbes Best of the Web in 2000. Brent worked in Private Client Services at Lehman Brothers before founding BulldogResearch.com and worked in investment banking in Morgan Stanley's Real Estate and Technology corporate finance teams in the early '90s. Brent holds a B.A. from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
