Doug co-founded Princeton Equity Group, co-leads its investment activities, and sits on the Firm’s investment committee. Prior to co-founding Princeton, Doug spent nearly 20 years as a private equity investor at Summit Partners, Silver Lake, Brazos, and MPK Equity Partners (which he co-founded in 2015). In addition, Doug has been a Senior Advisor at Princeton Ventures, our predecessor firm, since its inception in 2006. Doug’s current investments include Ellie Mental Health, Stretch Zone, Card My Yard, Accelerated Brands (the parent company to Strickland Brothers and Trademark Car Wash), the International Franchise Professionals Group, D1 Training, Five Star Franchising (the parent company to Mosquito Shield, Bio-One, Bath Solutions, Gotcha Covered, ProNexis, 1-800-Packouts, and 1-800-Textiles), and Stellar Brands. His previous investment experience includes European Wax Center (acquired by General Atlantic), Unleashed Brands (acquired by Seidler Equity Partners), and Radiance Holdings (acquired by TSG Consumer Partners). Doug holds a B.A., magna cum laude, in Theology and Economics from Boston College and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.
