Pontos is a private investment firm focused on traditional private equity related transactions as well as real estate development. Within private equity, Pontos looks for growth and buyout situations in a variety of industry sectors. The Firm will consider both majority and minority positions and seeks to invest €5 to €20 million of capital per transaction. Pontos targets opportunities in Finland, the Baltic States, Russia and selected other CIS countries. Pontos was formed in 2008 and is based in Helsinki.
