Jim Truong Bio

Jim Truong joined Parthenon Capital in 2022 as Director of Finance Advisory Services. He brings over 20 years of extensive experience in private equity, finance and planning, operational finance, and turnaround and restructuring consulting services. He has led consulting projects and engagements for small to middle market portfolio companies, working alongside management teams to help implement value creation initiatives. Prior to Parthenon, Jim worked at Accordion Partners where he consulted for the office of CFO for private equity-backed portfolio companies. Prior to Accordion Partners, Jim worked at Alvarez & Marsal for nearly a decade, providing operational finance, restructuring and turnaround consulting services. In his experience, Jim has a provided consulting services and guidance focused on the development of corporate reporting infrastructure, KPI establishment and management dashboarding, month-end close and reporting packages, FP&A and budget modeling as well as cash and liquidity forecasting. Jim earned his B.A. in Economics from Stanford University.
