Andrew Dodson is a Managing Partner of Parthenon Capital and is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Andrew is located in San Francisco and is Head of the San Francisco office. Andrew joined Parthenon Capital in 2005. He is an active investor in business services, financial services, insurance, software, and technology. Since joining Parthenon, Andrew has been actively involved with the firm’s investments in Allworth Financial, AmWINS Group, ASG, Bryant & Stratton, Cherry Bekaert, Choreo, Coastal Credit, EdgeCo Holdings, Envysion, H.D. Vest, ICD, loanDepot, Millennium Trust, Relation, ScentAir, Seaside National Bank & Trust, Titan Wealth, Venbrook and Wildlands. Prior to joining Parthenon, Andrew was a Consultant with Bain & Co. While at Bain, he focused on mergers and acquisitions, cost control, and corporate strategy for middle market technology companies. Andrew was also a financial analyst for Enron Corporation in the company’s retail group. In this role, he structured multiyear swaps with companies in multiple industries to hedge their energy exposure. Prior to Enron, he worked for Trilogy, Inc., an enterprise software company in Austin, Texas. At Trilogy, Andrew focused primarily in business development, establishing partnerships to spur growth for one of Trilogy’s subsidiaries. Andrew earned his B.A. – phi beta kappa, magna cum laude – from Duke University and his M.B.A with High Distinction as a Baker Scholar from Harvard Business School.
