Terry Suzuki is President and CEO, and Chairman of the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors of ORIX Corporation USA. He also serves as Group Senior Managing Executive Officer of ORIX Corporation, the parent company of ORIX USA, and is a member of ORIX USA’s Investment Committee He rejoined ORIX in the U.S. in 2015, initially as President and CEO of ORIX Capital Partners, the private equity investment arm of ORIX USA, and has been in his current role since 2019. Prior to ORIX, Mr. Suzuki served as President and Co-CEO of Cerberus Japan, a Japanese affiliate of Cerberus Capital Management. From 1995 to 2002, he was based in Los Angeles, and gained a wide range of investment industry experience as a Partner in Advisory at KPMG. In addition to his business experience in the U.S., he previously worked for ORIX Corporation in Japan from 1985 to 1993. Mr. Suzuki holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA in Economics from Keio University in Japan.
