Before joining ONCAP, Brent served as Vice President at Gauge Capital, where he focused on deal origination in the food and consumer sectors. Earlier in his career, Brent worked in the Leveraged & Sponsor Finance group at Capital One, providing debt for private equity-backed transactions. Brent holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Texas at Arlington and MBA from the University of North Texas. Brent leads the business development efforts at ONCAP, where he is responsible for building our key sectors of emphasis in conjunction with the investment team, covering and enhancing sponsor relationships, proprietary outreach initiatives, and marketing.
