Jim Morris Bio

Jim joined Nexus in 2023. Previously Jim was at Sun Capital, where he focused on value creation and transformation initiatives as part of the portfolio operations team. Prior to Sun, Jim led Johnson Controls’ Building Management Systems division and was a Group President at L3Harris. Before that he held senior leadership positions at Western Digital and Seagate and was an Associate Partner at McKinsey. Jim was an Intelligence Officer in the United States Army (where he received a Bronze Star) and holds an M.B.A. from Northwestern’s Kellogg School and a B.S. from the United States Military Academy.
